Merger & Acquisitions Accountant

A commercially focused and dynamic accounting position within an international consultancy group, where you will provide key support and be heavily involved in the integration and controllership arising from acquisition activity. Ultimately you will play a key part in the successful finance integration, post acquisition and you will also play a key role in providing critical documentation and process improvement to support the integration.



This is a unique role within a global group, where you will be exposed to a broad range of accounting activities. You will have the opportunity to not only enhance your accounting expertise by providing key financial accounting duties, but you will also gain experience of venture and acquisition activity within an international business, that will allow you to provide key insight to support further acquisitions.



They key duties within this role will ultimately require you to be responsible for the integration of acquired entities balance sheet and P&L into SAP and ensure the accurate, efficient and timely finance integration. You will work closely with various integration teams to ensure the accurate integration and you will provide finance support to local legal tams on liquidation of acquire entities where appropriate. This role will also require you to maintain and develop processes and documentation to support the integration.



To be successful and be the right candidate for this exciting, rare and diverse role, you will be a qualified accountant with 3-5 years progressive accounting experience, previous exposure to acquisitions and/or integration of new entities would also be a distinct advantage as would strong technical knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
