European Tax Manager - FTSE 250 business based in great location in Berkshire.
The role has two main focuses. First to oversee and manage the UK Tax Manager who looks after all the UK compliance and reporting for the UK, to review the work and intervene when required. But to also oversee the international compliance managed in country by controllers and advisor's. The role will involve a lot of transfer pricing due to the new BEPS rules and this will be a focus for someone, as well as general advisory, project and planning work across EMEA, ROW and Asia. The jurisdictions you will own will largely depend on your current exposure/experience and interests plus areas you wish to develop into. Due to the vast and interesting nature of the business, there is more than enough varied work to keep this person challenged and interested. Its an opportunity where you can make the role your own, play to your strengths and challenge yourself.
You: will ideally be qualified - ACCA, ACA, CTA and ideally of trained in the Big 4. You must have strength in corporate tax, and have a strong background in both compliance and advisory / project work across UK and EMEA. If you have International exposure wider than EMEA this would be of added benefit. You must be proactive, driven and keen to work in an open autonomous and busy group HQ.
