The Decision Support team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support executive report development and KPI improvement.



The candidate for this role has a combination of business acumen and technical knowledge, used to develop and deliver executive reporting and analysis in support of rapid decision-making. You will focus on supporting the growth of Apple’s products, routes to market and key Operations initiatives. This role is highly visible, interacting with executives and networking throughout Apple’s organization. We are looking for a thought leader to help drive Apple’s reporting strategy.



Key Qualifications

• 5 - 10 years relevant experience


• Innovative and strategic approach to problem solving


• Excellent data analysis and presentation skills


• Extensive experience in business analysis, reporting, and data mining


• Excellent communication skills


• Excellent Excel skills


• Experience with Business Object or similar reporting tool


• Ability to compile and manipulate large amounts of data while maintaining a very high degree of accuracy


• Strong time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and handle the pressure of last minute requests with little to no supervision


• Ability to comprehensively understand data elements, sources and relationships


• Self-motivated individual able to function effectively when working independently or in a team


• Ability to operate comfortably and effectively in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

Description



Design, develop and implement reporting and analysis to support business management and executive decision-making. Work with Apple’s IS&T team to drive development of tools to better support business analytics. Partner with other Apple organizations on data governance, reporting tools, hierarchy management and KPI’s.



Education



- BS or equivalent, MS preferre
