International Credit Controller

Credit control and collections are currently managed by a range of different functions including dedicated credit control and collection teams together with a combination of in country finance and customer service. Support is provided from an order to cash (OTC) team in the Cork SSC including all cash application activity. You will working closely with in market finance in setting the overall credit control and collections strategy for all these teams and provide regular support and direction to optimise performance.


The International Credit Controller will work closely with the Business Services Team in Cork as well as Corporate functions to align strategy and to report the status of International collections.




Key functions will be:



*Sets the strategy for credit control across all entities outside North America.

*Oversees credit control and collection activities undertaken in country and at the SSC.

*Involved in setting credit limits for the most significant customers and those with highest risk.

*Supports the development and implementation of action plans where any major collection issues arise.

*Directly involved in the review of credit extended to distributors.

*Reviews and manages credit risk as the company expands to new geographies.

*Promotes and helps implement best practice credit control and collection processes.

Identifies ERP enhancement requests and helps with the design of new technology to support the collection processes as an enabler for effective and efficient credit control and cash collection.

*Ensures compliance with corporate policies with respect to credit control and collections.

*Proposes enhancements to corporate policies with respect to credit control and collections.

*Works with other members to the Compliance and Reporting team to track and forecast DSO and cash collections.

*Trains and develops those responsible for collections in country and at the SSC.

*Contributes to financial due diligence of distributors and other key customers.

*Motivates and drives in country teams to achieve strong collections and actively manage credit risk

*Fosters and develop strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners

*Motivates and supports the performance management of key employees responsible for credit control and collection.

*Seeks to drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
