My client, a European headquartered global insurer, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their well established finance team. Reporting directly to the finance manager, the successful candidate will be joining a well regarded and stable team in a leading international business.



This is a broad role and will provide the successful client with the opportunity to engage in a varied portfolio of work with exposure to a wide number of business functions. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the monthly preparation of financial accounts, accounts payable & receivable, budgeting & forecasting, as well as ad-hoc projects as directed by the business leadership. The firm provides a great learning environment and the ideal candidate will be somebody looking for a challenging and long term career opportunity.



With a minimum for two years relevant experience, the successful candidate will be ambitious, hard working and driven. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to confidently deal with senior stakeholders within business. With a degree or diploma in accounting, finance or business, the successful candidate will either be a qualified accountant, or aspire to be one in the future. Candidates with the desire to build a long term career within the insurance industry would be considered particularly favourably.
