Our client are a large pharmaceutical wholesaler in the UK with several regional sites. They have a significant site in
Glasgow which has an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team and a site that the organisation are investing heavily in. They are recruiting for a systems manager to join the management team at the site.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintenance Schedule
- Design the Schedule.
- Ensure compliance with the Schedule.
- Escalate non compliances to the Branch Manager.
- Liaise with external providers of maintenance for all relevant equipment including Fridge/ Air Con systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Facilities Maintenance
- Acts as point of contact for external facilities maintenance providers.
- Support the Branch with facilities requirements as directed by the Branch Manager.
- Manage all 'off circuit' equipment and consumable.
Budget / Cost Control
- Maintain the Systems related Stock File.
- Manage the stock take of spare parts and consumable.
System Monitoring
- Monitor and report on all Systems KPI's in line with Operational requirements
- Escalation (P1's)
- Inform IT of all Branch/ Technical errors, to include impact and risk.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Strong Conveyor Belt Knowledge
NVQ2 Electrical Maintenance
Driving Licence
Certificate in Management Skills (sponsored internally)
Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronic/ Pneumatic Qualification
Diploma in Management Skills
IEE 17th edition
PAT testing
In addition to these experience in the following would also be beneficial:
- People Management and Leadership - ability to motivate and communicate effectively. Ability to cater style dependent on the situation and resource employed.
- Organisation Skills - ability to plan and prioritise. Manage own time.
Financial Awareness - understanding branch budgets and implications on running a shift.
- Mechanical and Electrical skills
- Warehouse Systems, Functions and Audit Trails
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Automation Systems e.g. Peem / Knapp
- Health and Safety Procedures
