Head of Regulatory MI and Planning - Global Bank

A well known Global Bank is looking to make a strategic hire in to their regulatory team. They are looking for Lead for the Regulatory MI and Planning team managing the Planning and Forecasting, MI Simplification initiatives, enhanced MI on CRDIV changes and leveraging granular data from the COREP infrastructure. Your team will have ownership of Stress testing and special regulatory initiatives.



Responsibilities:



-Strengthen the oversight capability of Finance in relation to the RWA/ Capital Demand Planning and Forecasting plus the global business and regional coverage of regulatory performance and associated commentary.

-Drive vision of greater integration of business strategy, regulatory changes, portfolio risk, model development and internal and external governance into RWA/capital demand forecasting at every level of the organization

-Drive the development of regulatory management information policies and methodologies and the design and enhancement of regulatory performance measures and metrics.

-Lead review and challenge of Global and Regional RWA strategic plans

-Direct the strategic development of the RWA/Capital Demand Planning and Forecasting

-Provide guidance and SME support to the team managers on their execution of MI and Regulatory Planning

-Oversee the coordination and implementation of the annual RWA target (limit) setting process, in close liaison with all global business, regional and global function stakeholders.

-Lead in Stress Testing (interim manuals and strategic solutions)

Ensure the provision of accurate data to Holdings, Group Management Board, Risk Management Meeting, and ad-hoc information requests from senior management, global businesses, global functions, investors and regulators

-Lead on-going continuous improvement of the transformation of management information to leverage the capabilities and manage the risk of a major change to the regulatory reporting infrastructure; and ii) transitioning ownership of selected regulatory management information production to the global businesses and regions.

-Manage small offshore team in support of overall Regulatory MI and Planning delivery



Skills:



You must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with minimum 8 + years PQE, solid understanding of banking industry and products traded including treasury and investment banking products.



You must have hands on experience working on RWA calculations, UK Regulatory Capital Rules, including future developments, Risk models for capital calculations, Risk and Regulatory drivers of RWA movements and Stress Testing
