Currently we are seeking a seeking a highly motivated, senior technical architect, who will work across regions /geographies and worldwide teams to develop technical architecture and design for security monitoring, management, and analytics infrastructure and services.

The technical architect is the primary point of accountability for developing cost effective technical approaches, recommendation, architectural models, and detailed designs for specified Enterprise Security Services. This includes gathering and prioritizing requirements, helping define and articulate project vision and roadmap, and working closely with the other portfolio, development, and engineering functions to ensure strategic and financial goals are met. Develops recommendations and alternative design options, and drives decisions to and delivery costs and ensures that they are in line with growth and profitability goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Based on a strong knowledge of security technology and infrastructure, lead the development and design of technical architecture supporting the ESS business strategy. Specifically:

• Perform independently and take responsibility for solution and system architecture and design components

• Work closely with project managers, other architects, developers and testers to ensure project scope and deliverables are understood and released on time.

• Lead solution development and execution. Produce architecture designs for a broad range of programs

• Capture and shape business and technical requirements to fit solution needs

• Translate technical requirements into component architects and system designs

• Work effectively across organization boundaries, insuring alignment and coordination of activities

• Liaise with vendors and other service lines

• Develop program plans and schedules with well-defined milestones.

• Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.

• Create and maintain technical roadmaps

• Lead other virtual technical teams to ensure alignment with strategic programs

• Communicate to internal and external stakeholders design.

• Develop strong relationships with other leaders within Enterprise Security Services to help garner support for programs and resource alignment

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.

May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Represents the organization to external customers/clients.





Qualifications


Knowledge and Skills Required:

-Strong preference given to candidates able to work or relocate to Plano, Tx. Large metropolitan areas considered.

- Currently acting as an architect with experience designing from the ground up: sizing systems, infrastructure, access threat management and working with monitoring tools.-- Open Group level 2 certification is strongly preferred

- Experience deploying systems across many geographic locations.


- Strong experience using SIEM, Monitoring, ArcSite, Symantec, or Bluecoat


-Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of large enterprise or global solutions that span multiple technologies and disciplines.

• Be able to provide architectural direction for multiple medium to large sized projects concurrently in various stages of their lifecycle or a large project full time.

• Conversant with and able to apply multiple architectural, development and operational methodologies (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, Information Technology (IT) service Management (ITSM), …)

• Expert or Master level of knowledge of multiple technologies or IT disciplines

• Ability to write Statements of Work for large enterprise or global level solutions that span multiple technologies or operational areas.

• Ability to apply program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure the accomplishment of targeted goals for large enterprise or global level projects..

• Lead in identifying, qualifying, and closing large, complex opportunities

• Play key role in preparing proposals and bids for large, complex opportunities

• Manage internal reviews and contribute to Solution Opportunity Approval and Review (SOAR) process for large, complex opportunities

• Plays a leading role in the Architect profession at both local and regional level.

• Build and manage long-term, strategic relationships at Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Core I/O Only (CIO) level.

Education and Experience Required:



Industry experience - minimum 10 to 15 years Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
