RFP Writer

Hong Kong, HK - Financial Services

My client is one of the world's leading asset management companies with significant operations in Asia and a global presence. They are looking to add an experienced (2-5 years) RFP writer with ambitions to further their career in the business.



Role:



* Supporting the Asia Pacific institutional and wholesale & intermediary businesses through the completion of RFPs, RFIs and DDQs

* Research, compile and write high-quality written RFP/ RFI outputs and associated documents for the institutional and wholesale markets.

* Writing detailed responses to questions contained within these requests and project managing the information gathering and questionnaire completion process.

* Responses to ad-hoc requests through the provision of knowledge management services.

* Extraction of performance, assets, and other relevant data from internal and external databases.

* Liaise with other departments, both in Asia and overseas, to ensure the appropriate information on the products is updated promptly and accurately.

* Sourcing and maintaining information on a wide variety of industry related topics.

* Continuously review process and systems to identify changes that are necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.





Requirements:



* Graduate degree in a Finance / Business-related discipline or degree-qualified in a Writing / Literature-related discipline in tandem with experience as an Investment Writer.

* Excellent written and oral English skills.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Attention to detail and a high level of quantitative and qualitative accuracy.

* Show evidence of excellent applied knowledge of the investment industry and markets, as well as a developed understanding of investment products and portfolios (Investment Trusts, retail and/or institutional funds) and how fund management firms operate.

* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, well-organised, and able to prioritise and handle multiple deadline-oriented projects.

* High degree of IT literacy - Word, PowerPoint and Excel in particular.

* Previous use or knowledge of Qvidian is strongly preferred.

* Familiarity with Bloomberg & DataStream is advantageous

* Familiarity with performance measurement (including GIPS).

* Proficiency in Cantonese would be helpful although not essential



This is an excellent opportunity for a well-motivated team player with 2-5 years experience in RFP writing or investment writing to further your knowledge of products and investment process. This role will work closely with the company's sales channels across the region.
