Analysis Engineer - Rotating Machines

A market leader within the power generation industry who specialise in the design, manufacture, installation and service of steam turbines to power stations across the world are currently looking for an Analysis Engineer to join their team based in Warwickshire. The company's products and technologies account for around 25% of the world's power output; they lead their industry in terms of innovation and scale.



Working on the company's range of industrial steam turbines, which are used in power generation, oil & gas, and industrial applications, the role of the team is to apply the latest research & development breakthroughs to the company's product.



On a day-to-day basis, the Analysis Engineer will be responsible for performing stress, torsion, and vibration analysis on rotating and static turbomachinery components. The role will involve taking the fundamental physics of stress & dynamic analysis problems and turning them into representative mathematical models.



Essentially what we are looking for is a Mechanical Engineer with dynamic stress analysis experience preferably on rotating machines / turbomachinery. Someone with creep, fatigue, linear & non-linear analysis experience would be ideal for this position, and a working knowledge of ABAQUS would be beneficial.
