Due to a growing product portfolio an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Senior Software

Developer to join a government owned company, based in the Wellington CBD. This role is ideal for someone who can think fast and is looking for a new challenge.



As someone who is commercially sound you will be confident in developing effective systems for network communication and you will be able to work autonomously with very little direction. You will be raising the bar and playing a vital role in developing and maintaining best practice processes and procedures.



To be successful you will have extensive experience with Linux and Python with equivalent experience in Oracle, Postgres and MSSQL. You will have strong knowledge of SNMP network and IP protocols such as TCP/IP. You will be familiar with Pyramid OR Python web frameworks. Familiarity with C, C++ and VM ware is a plus.



You will possess a commercial mind with the ability to think strategically and you will be a natural leader who can work collaboratively across different teams.
