For our client, a well-known e-commerce company, we are looking for a Linux System Administrator (m/f) - 244953/8

• Coordinate, maintain and execute administrative tasks on the infrastructure management processes, including the systematics, automation and documentation


• Manage and support relationships and handle cases with hardware vendors


• Facilitate the provisioning of new IT equipment in the data centers


• Make minor changes to resource provisioning scripts as needed (Bash, Perl)


• Work with the management to track purchases against budget and facilitate creation of POs


• Manage the virtualizations via VMware, providing suggestions on how to better use capacity


• Continuously develop and improve capacity planning and management methodologies
