An incredible opportunity has become available for an experienced Procurement Manager to join this national organisation on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this newly created role is a great opportunity for an experienced procurement expert to join a business that is looking to improve their procurement processes and drive cost savings across their business.
Initially you will be responsible for reviewing the current procurement systems and procedures as well as existing supplier agreements in place. You will then work with upper management, commercial and operational teams to develop a system and processes to track cost and limit off contract spending.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience as a Procurement Manager ideally in a start up role similar to this.
You must have the ability to build strong working relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders at all levels of the business. You will have strong communication, time management and organisational skills and will have the ability to influence those around you to adopt changes put in place.
