Job Description


Automation architect to work on HP’s Executive Scorecard. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that designs, implements, tests and validates software that assists major corporations in the management of their IT businesses using Agile development practices and utilizing a wide range of skills and experience in a variety of disciplines to help produce and implement HP’s Executive.


Primary Responsibility


l Drive and work closely with stakeholders to set the automation strategy and roadmap


l Design, implement and maintain automation framework for BI product on both backend data warehouse and frontend web applications.






Qualifications

Required


l Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a technical leadership and/or architecture role. Design and implement 2+ complex automation framework independency.


l 5+ years of solid Java programming experience


l 5+ years’ experience implementing test automation frameworks.


l Familiarity with RDBMS, Strong SQL skill needed.


l Familiarity with at least one web test automation framework (Selenium, Silk, Eiffel etc.)


l Familiarity with Linux.


l Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and be able to communicate interact effectively with management as well as a diverse technical team.


l Great Passion to technology. Fast leaner.


Plus


l Experience with continuous integration and build tools is a plus (i.e. jUnit, DB Unit, Maven, Bamboo, and Jira)


l Big data experience, e.g., Vertica is a big plus.


l Familiarity with Ruby, or other script language is a plus.


l BI, ETL background is a plus.


l Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus


Education


l BS/BA in Computer Science or related field required. Masters preferred.
