Apple Operations is looking for a candidate with relevant experience in operations, procurement, financial analysis and project management. This is a unique opportunity to support and influence product development at Apple, while contributing to the company’s operational excellence.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship building skills


• Ability to manage multiple projects with constantly changing and competing priorities


• Maniacal attention to detail, and its role in the bigger picture


• Insatiable curiosity with an ability to effectively dig for answers and solutions


• Basic DFMA knowledge


• Database creation and management with a view towards future requirements


• Basic understanding of consumer electronics market, components, manufacturing, and sourcing - Demonstrated ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations


• Strong experience with Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, etc.


• Experience in Keynote and FileMaker is a plus

Description



- Understand existing and emerging technologies in consumer electronics products from a cost, supply chain, and technical perspective

- Drive market and supply chain analysis, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop priorities

and processes to map and understand risks and opportunities

- Develop a comprehensive database to track cost and supplier details

- Partner with Procurement Managers (GSMs) in deriving accurate and aggressive Should-Costs

- Challenge generally accepted supply chain, design, and feature rules

- Serve as a “one stop shop” to advise the development teams on operational, cost, and supply chain

issues



Education



- BA/BS required

- MBA or Masters in Engineering a plu
