This public sector organisation is committed to being a leader in their industry and believes in maintaining efficient delivery of safe, secure and reliable rail transport.



Due to invested infrastructure works, this organisation is looking to employ a Principal Technical Manager in Sydney on a long term contract.



Reporting to the Program Manager, you will manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of technical managers, engineers, designers and specialists to develop and deliver a major infrastructure project. You will provide technical expertise in the delivery and commissioning of Control Systems projects whilst ensuring the agreed scope of works. You will develop, implement, monitor and update test plans and schedules for the testing of site releases within the rail systems.



Ideally you will hold a relevant Electrical Engineering Degree with experience in a Systems Engineering role relating to control systems. It is imperative that you come from a design background as well as having proven management experience. If you can demonstrate the implementation of the V Model project life cycle on your resume, this will be highly favourable.



Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, will be vital. You pride yourself on maintaining a safe work environment and are fully aware of the latest OH&S legislation.
