With key projects underway, this organisation requires a Systems Engineer to join the team. Offering a unique, varied role in the infrastructure team, this organisation has experienced sustained growth over the last 10 years.
As a Systems Engineer, you will play to your strength of server administration (MS Server 2008R2 and 2012). Microsoft server certification is required. You will work with Windows Active Directory, with emphasis on Group Policy and Security. Applicants will need to demonstrate fluency with Microsoft SQL, VMware ESX technology, SAN and storage technology and monitoring systems.
You'll also work with Cisco Networking technology (including routing and switching protocols), Citrix XenApp remote desktop, Cisco wireless and WAN technologies. Personality-wise, they're looking for a true enabler, who can talk technology with the IT team and liaise effectively with end-users as required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
