Payroll Officer - Sole Charge

A successful, privately owned company on the lower north shore has a need for an experienced and confident Payroll Officer to assist while their current incumbent is on leave.



Taking sole responsibility for the payroll you will be running a weekly payroll for approximately 350 staff (including contractors) which will include processing new starters and leavers/terminations, processing leave, dealing with queries and problems, liaison with internal stakeholders and other payroll related tasks.



To be successful in this role you are required to have at least 5 years experience in payroll and be confident in your abilities yet not afraid to ask questions. There will be training given on their industry based system however any knowledge of the construction industry will be highly regarded.



The team is lively and helpful and the organisation is fast paced and works to tight deadlines. Starting on the 25th August this role will run through to the beginning of October.
