Systems/Software Engineer

United States, US - Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Information Technology and Services

Design, develop, test, and debug software for existing and new products which provide solutions for managing datacenter hardware. These products involve development of user interfaces, engines that accomplish tasks, and interfaces to other components.



Responsibilities

• Design enhancements, updates, and new capabilities for HP OneView.


• Analyze designs to determine and implement coding and integration activities.


• Write and execute complete test plans and documentation for assigned portion of application.


• Identify, debug, and create solutions for issues with code and integration with other components.


• Collaborate and communicate with management and development partners

Education and Experience







The following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering within the past 12 months or expected in Fall 2014 or Spring 2015


• Permanent right to work in the United States

Knowledge and Skills







The following skills and experience are desired:

• Working knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript, and Python


• Experience with software test development, execution, and scripting


• Familiarity with Agile development processes


• Expertise with system administration processes and tools


• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
