We are currently looking to recruit a Consumer Offers & Analysis Manager to join our Telecommunications team based in Sydney. The position will report to the Carrier Sales Manager (ANZ) and also work closely with the Carrier sales team and International consumer offers teams within Apple. This is a critical customer facing role that is focussed on developing opportunities & shaping initiatives for Apple’s iPhone business across Australia & New Zealand.
Key Qualifications
- 6 years of commercial or finance experience in the telecommunications or consumer technology industry, with consumer propositions/pricing experience highly regarded.
- Able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of telecommunications economics with regards to ARPU, EBITDA, churn and other key financial metrics.
- Highly analytical with the ability to convert data sources into business intelligence. Must have excellent quantitative/business modelling skills and be highly proficient in MS Excel.
- Confident and articulate, with a clear ability to influence others, learn quickly and navigate diverse and demanding stakeholders.
- Able to present insights and drive conclusions in an engaging manner to regional management.
- Capable working autonomously with minimal supervision while completing a variety of complex, non-standardised tasks.
Description
Consumer Offers:
Work with Apple’s channel partners to identify opportunities to introduce new and innovative customer offers to increase iPhone/iPad sell through.
Collaborate with international teams to identify emerging industry trends and identify best practices for the Australia & New Zealand markets, with a significant focus on innovative consumer offers.
Analyse current consumer offers for iPhone/iPad to evaluate subsidy levels and explore competitive product positioning.
Identify promotional opportunities that optimise sales performance. Evaluating pricing elasticity of carriers’ pricing actions, and establish learnings and best practices.
Insights & Analysis:
Provide decision support & guidance on market initiatives.
Analyse sales data to extract insights on channel performance trends identify opportunities to improve channel performance.
Generate insights & learnings from channel programs initiatives and work with account executives to improve the quality of Apple’s channel programs.
Identify and report on key market trends across the smartphone/tablet categories for regional management, acting as the internal “point of reference” for Australia & New Zealand telecommunications trends.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field; MBA and/or CPA a plus
