One of Sydney's prominent utilities and civil construction employer's has an excellent opportunity to roll out new WHS initiatives and WHS management strategies across the organisation in the Sydney metropolitan region.



Reporting to the General Manager, the core purpose of this role will be to provide WHS advice and support to operational staff in implementing effective and practical WHS practices. Balancing your time between working with operational staff and liaising with clients, you will be required to visit multiple sites and manage your time effectively.Being a positive agent of change is a vital part of the role as you are expected to educate your team and construction staff around WHS activities and guide on actions that need to be reviewed. Communication is key, WHS legislation and regulation knowledge is one aspect but building long lasting working relationships is crucial to the role.



To transition effectively into this business you will have a proven background in compliance with WHS specifications and WHS legislation, civil project experience such as early works, water and earthworks are preferable. The ability to assess projects and WHS risks and needs independently is crucial to your every-day activities. Qualifications such as a Diploma or Cert IV in OHS, an auditing Certification and ICAM Investigation training are highly desirable.

The role is permanent with a salary package of $70k-$80k +Super depending on experience.
