Our client, a well respected family business specialising in groundwork and civil engineering, have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant / Intermediate Surveyor to join their team.



They are seeking a hard working candidate, who will ideally be degree qualified. 1 to 3 years of prior experience in the role is essential as you will be required to hold a background knowledge of the role.



You will be tasked with helping in all aspects of financial management, including:



- Taking off quantities from drawings

- Price schedules

- Reviewing costs

- Sending out enquiries to sub-contractors and ensuring their health and safety compliance

- Keeping up-to-date training records

- All other ad-hoc administrative duties.



The suitable candidate will have a full, clean driving licence and own transport to enable them to get the offices and at various times to site.
