The Recruitment Consultant would be responsible for managing the end to end recruitment life cycle for internal and external recruitment activities- for both graduate and experienced recruitment. They would be involved in designing and executing innovative sourcing strategy and also maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and manage candidate relationships. The role is based in the Northern Suburbs.



Key Responsibilities :

• Managing end to end internal and external recruitment activities, placing priority on filling key roles in line with agreed global processes and Service Level Agreements

• Nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, offering a consultative approach and guiding and influencing to best practice

• Design, activate and execute innovative and strategic sourcing for priority talent initiatives (both proactively and reactively as required), including networking to build, manage and maintain a pipeline of external talent taking full advantage of digital and social channels

• In conjunction with the HR Talent Manager, developing sourcing methods to find the best drivers of talent by leveraging multiple channels, including but not limited to social channels, networking, direct sourcing, internet recruiting, data mining, advertising, employee referrals, competitor contacts and third party vendors /partners

• Leveraging internal and external contacts to ensure available pools of talent for future openings, and utilising the recruitment CRM system

• Managing candidate relationships and communicating the Client employment value proposition to prospective hires

• Identify areas for continuous improvement and introduce innovation within the recruitment process, including adoption of best practices within our global virtual team network

• Ensure compliance with global and local recruitment policies

• Applicant tracking system data integrity and accuracy

• Provide and analyse data on key metrics for recruitment, application flow, sources and quality of talent as required



• Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience of managing end to end recruitment in client-facing in house recruitment or equivalent agency environment



Preferred Skills:

• Relevant experience working within a fast moving and customer goods industry and/or function within Australia/New Zealand

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a highly consumer focused environment

• Have a proven track record of delivering high quality hires with strong hiring manager and candidate satisfaction

• Ability to build and manage strong relationships internally, with vendors, hiring managers, HR business partners and candidates

• Demonstrate experience in candidate sourcing from a range of different channels including but not limited to social channels, networking, direct sourcing, internet recruiting, data mining, advertising, employee referrals and competitor contacts

• Experience working in a proactive recruitment environment, including use of digital media and social media, with experience using of a recruitment CRM an advantage

• Ability to implement creative and innovative ways of recruiting niche, hard to fill and high volume roles

• Required experience in competency based interviewing techniques including probing questioning to identify key critical behaviours of candidates

• Strong awareness of brand management and employee value proposition to sell to candidates

• Understand local labour employment law and legislation

• Exposure to and understanding of monitoring service quality and deliver against requirements within given SLAs

• Advanced knowledge of standard software packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet)

• Good time, workload management and organisational skills, able to multi-task and prioritise in order to meet deadlines

• Ability to be flexible with excellent problem solving and strong influencing skills

• Ability to add value and share best practice experiences with the teams and clients

• Ability to work in a virtual team environment across a number of geographies

• Experience of using applicant tracking tools and workflow
