Junior Accounts Payable (Part Time)

Our client a IT company are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join there Melbourne CBD office on a permanent, PART TIME basis.



This role is part time(flexible hours) but that may change to full time depending on company growth, the long term view of the role is to progress to an accounts assistant or assistant accountant.



The role has come available due to rapid growth in the organisation. You will be on a team of 5 reporting into the CFO.



The role consists of receiving, opening and logging invoices, getting department approval to pay invoices, paying invoices on time, contacting creditors with questions or concerns about bills. You will also work with the overseas Parent company to handle any queries.



The successful person would have strong organizational skills, Independent work skills, analytical and problem solving skills, strongly detail-oriented, computer skills, especially the ability to use accounting software and strong written and verbal communication skills is a essential.



Experience in a Large ERP system is essential with peoplesoft experience being very desirable.



Candidates must have a valid visa to work in Australia on a permanent basis.
