The World-wide Supply Chain team is responsible for supply chain strategy and design. The team’s objective is to drive supply chain simplification, efficiency, and automation, with a focus on customer experience.

The WW Supply Chain Program Manager reports into the Sr. Manager, WW Supply Chain and is responsible to recommend, manage and deliver key global initiatives across Apple’s end-to-end supply chain. This role will be the primary interface with cross-functional teams within Apple. This position will drive key projects from ideation through implementation managing tasks and leading regular status updates and business reviews.

Key Qualifications

  • A successful Program Manager is a natural leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management with strong analytical and Excel skills; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.
  • 5-10 years experience in supply chain management, logistics, supply demand management, manufacturing, and/or project management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present to executive staff
  • Ability to influence solutions across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel 5-10%
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects and completing deliverables on-schedule

Description

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Ops, Supply Demand Management, Procurement, Finance, Business Process Re-engineering, and Readiness to define and scope concepts and supply chain strategy
Drive initiatives by defining project tasks, setting timelines, and managing key deliverables
Provide an agnostic view of the supply chain operations performance making unbiased recommendations on improvements
Develop metrics, tools and reports that improve insight into the supply chain and where best to focus improvement efforts.
Manage supply-chain related communications, upward and downward through the organization; escalate key issues and present options for resolution to the cross-functional executive teams.

Education

BA/BS Degree, MBA is considered a plu
