This large Australian retail business has a unique market presence and continues to grow in strength with new products being brought to market. They now have an opportunity for a talented Financial Controller to provide significant scope and input in to the direction of the finance team.



The Financial Controller will assist in providing day-to-day leadership to direct and control the effective financial reporting of the business. This will include analysis, interpretation and insight in managing the financial and commercial performance of the company, proactive management of cash and working capital within the company, working in close collaboration with the CFO. Other key duties will include completion of local statutory accounts and corporation tax computations and managing the annual audit by the Group's auditors and the day-to-day relationship.



This critical position requires CPA/CA qualifications along with demonstrated experience from a retail environment. Applicants must have strong leadership skills in transforming finance teams into a customer focussed culture.
