A rare and exciting opportunity for an events and communications co-ordinator to join an ever growing not for profit association has now become available. We are pleased to partner with our client who are an information and communications technology membership association. They have a strong national presence and rapid plans for membership growth in Western Australia.

Located within the inner city suburbs, our client provides a professional service to their members in the information and communication technology sector. An exciting full time permanent position has become available for an events coordinator with communications experience to immediately join their close knit team in Western Australia.

As an events co-ordinator, you will be responsible for project managing events from concept to execution and assisting members with enquiries. You will also be responsible for coordinating and producing print and digital marketing collateral such as e-newsletters, website content and assist in creating event promotional collateral. This role also requires liaising with key internal and external stakeholders. Other duties include coordinating and delivering events and promotional seminars to members in line with the annual events calendar as well as providing ad hoc administrative support.

To be successful for this role you will be a graduate with a minimum of 1-2 years corporate experience in events and communications or customer service. You will ideally have a tertiary related qualification in Marketing, Communications or Business and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally our client is looking for the successful candidate to demonstrate a strong customer service approach and possess Microsoft office experience at an intermediate level. You will be a team player who has excellent time management and problem solving skills.

A competitive salary of $45k plus super is on offer for the right candidate along with fantastic training and development. An annual salary review will be conducted which will review your performance and salary.
