HP Operations Orchestration software gives the unique possibility of automating a wide range of tasks that can be achieved in all data centers. Starting from simple operations related to operating systems, networks, databases, application servers developed by various vendors, complex and ready-to-use workflows can be assembled, leveraging the quantity of work generally done by humans and thus, reducing costs and improving efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver enterprise-quality products for HP's Cloud and Automation Management BU


• Be accountable to deliver with your team planned releases, guiding the team members during all development phases, from design to release


• Have the responsibility of evaluate and develop employee performance, build up their career path; talent management targeting individual and team excellence


• Manage and mentor your team members, developing in scrum methodology


• Be a representative for your team members, allocate them on projects; collaborate with other teams


• Manage available resources (software licenses, test equipment)


• Need to understand and implement the HP organizational culture, including balancing between the different stakeholders requirements, being responsive and accountable

Qualifications

• Proven managerial experience in managing product and leading people


• Very good understanding of SW development, especially Java and Project management processes and standards


• Good understanding of: OOP, operating Systems (Windows, Linux), networking (communication protocols), Maven and Ant (experience is a plus), interface technologies as Web Service SOAP, REST APIs, security over HTTP


• Strong technical background; critical thinking, decision-making aptitudes are a must


• Very good team player abilities; very good negotiation, communication, presentation skills


• Fluent English is a must
