Overview
JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for the Analysis, promotion and coordination Of Veeam’s classroom and online training programs through the Veeam University and Backup Academy Vehicles. Analysis may also include work with Channel Leaders to identify what is missing. These programs educate and enable Veeam’s Channel Partners distributors and End Users on Veeam’s’ sales methodologies, products, and competitive landscape. Reporting to the Global Director Corporate Education Sales Enablement, services, this person will be integral with the roll-out of new Channel partner Education programs, Veeam’s messaging roll out, product awareness and Veeam certified Education program.
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for external and internal gathering training needs, course analysis, education consultancy and education support Globally for all channel partners, distributors, end users for Veeam University & Backup academy
Is Global Education and Enablement team Key contact for Global channel leadership attends channel leadership QBR’s meetings and adhoc meetings as required
Works with Education & Enablement Team design & Development functions to create, evaluate, deliver and retire courseware for channel and distribution sellers
Works with Enablement design & development practices to localize materials to region when needed
If required hosts Veeam Channel Team Education sessions on Veeam University Courseware to promote new and existing programs, uses a variety of instructional methods to ensure maximum delivery effectiveness including individual or small group instruction (such as train the trainer), self-study, simulation and role play exercises, distance learning, webinars, video conferencing, etc.
Develops and executes training plans; provides summary reports of all training delivered, tracking performance to metrics
Work with Education and Enablement and operations teams to coordinate training activities and process contingencies
Supports PMM and sales teams in coordinating new product launches and rollouts and provides training as needed
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and be is a capable leader
- 2-5 years of training experience delivering content for technology sales
- Training coordination for a channel/ reseller/ or distributor in a fast pace and high growth environment
- Training sales people via a solution oriented sales methodology
- Presenting training materials via WebEx and in-classroom
- Strong technical proficiency and the ability to learn complex systems quickly
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage many projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
- Able to travel up to 40% of the time with some international travel
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Field Channel Sales experience a major plus
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM required
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and their adaptation into a sales environment is desirable, Richardson, Franklin Covey, Huthwaite, Challenger model etc.
- Strong technical capability in Backup, replication and virtualization technologies
