Responsible for developing and maintaining some of Sydney's oldest and most historic areas, this Local Government organisation has a large portfolio of road and footbath infrastructure projects, scheduled for design before the end of the financial year.

To ensure they deliver these projects as scheduled, an experienced Civil Design Engineer is required to undertake site inspections, develop the scope of works and develop detailed designs, of road and footpath infrastructure, using AutoCAD and 12D civil design software. These designs will then be delivered for construction with alterations and changes undertaken by the managing engineer.

To be considered for this position you will have a degree in Civil Engineering with post graduation experience in undertaking detailed design of road infrastructure using the above software. You will have worked on similar projects to Australian Standards and experience working within a Local or State Government organisation is preferable.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a lucrative contract with an opportunity to develop their skills on interesting projects using state of the art software. This contract is for 3-6 months but may be extended depending on the quality of the candidate and the availability of work.
