Senior Production Welding Engineer

Singapore, SG - Oil & Energy

This is an opportunity to work with a global Oil and Gas player who have made a name for themselves in offshore, subsea project Management. As a Senior Production Welding Engineer you would be responsible for providing support to the Project Management teams in Middle East and Asia Pacific for the entire spectrum of Welding Engineering, welding Operations and NDT.



This role will give you an opportunity to prepare and qualify WPS AND WQT along with being in-charge of production, cost quality related matters, procurement and welding engineering. You would also be liaising with suppliers for technical and commercial negotiations for welding and NDT.



To be suitable for this role you would ideally have 8-10 years of in-depth experience in welding fabrication supervision for Offshore/Onshore/ Pressure vessels/ Boiler/ subsea projects. You would also be AWS-CWI/SCWIP 3.1/3.2, NDT Level 2 certified, OR QMS Internal Auditor.
