Logistics Systems Analyst

Leicester, United Kingdom, GB - Information Technology and Services

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Systems Analyst. (5 month fixed term contract)



The Systems Analyst will be required to develop system solutions and related operational practices in support of my client's strategic and operational projects.



Responsibilities include;



- Make recommendations based on requirements to Line Manager, identifying considerations of corporate or industry IT standards, within in timelines of identified projects.

- Provide data analysis to support identification and justification of above project requirements and deliverables, including presentation of cost and effort IT solution proposals for all stages of IT project lifecycle (where required).

- Collate, analyse and present system change requirements to support projects.

- Working closely with internal and external development teams, generate program specifications, to achieve project goals.

- Work with project teams and the support team, in effectively testing and handing over any completed developments, ensuring implementation disciplines are maintained, and are thoroughly documented.

- Work with Business users to design and build business processes around developments delivered by projects, inputting into disciplines, practices and documentation.

- Provide IT project management support, collating project status updates, issues and risks logs and project plans in support of Line Manager.

- To pursue additional tasks as agreed with your line manager in line with Objectives, in the timelines of the contract.



You will be accountable for;



Liaison and communication with system users and developers in line with the role. These will be in the EU AND USA based offices.

Status updates of assigned projects

Flexible and pre planned hours to support the demands of the business.
