Network Operations Engineer - 2nd/3rd line

Prestigious opportunity with a pioneering ISP and Unified Communications solutions provider for an experienced 2nd line Network Operations Engineer! Responsible for a 24/7 shift rota in a NOC environment, you will be dedicated to supporting the NOC, fault diagnosis, resolution, provisioning IP switching and routing, MPLS VPN support, Firewalls and load balancing. Successful candidates will possess previous experience in IP switching and routing (Cisco) and extensive experience in data communications to 2nd/3rd line support. Working in a live customer environment with previous experience in a NOC/Data Centre/Service Desk, we are seeking experience from within a Telco, ISP, Service provider or Carrier. You will possess experience in IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, PPP/LT2P, ethernet, xDSL and leased lines. Our NOC Engineers are experienced in incident, problem and change management with layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing.
