Senior Internal Auditor

Our client, a FTSE listed business with an international footprint, seeks a Senior Internal Auditor for their corporate audit team following internal promotion. Working across all areas of the business, you will help in the delivery of financial and operational audits, control assessments and special projects, all aimed at reducing risk and adding commercial value. This role is seen as a great entry point for a qualified accountant; one that will allow this individual to gain a good understanding of business operations, raise their profile with key stakeholders and progress within the department or out into the wider business. As audit is seen as a 'talent pool' for the organisation, backed by recent internal moves, our client is seeking a large practice trained (ideally Big 4) accountant - ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent, with audit experience gained with commercial clients. Some post-qualification experience is preferred, however candidates who can demonstrate rapid career progression to date will be considered on merit.

Due to the nature and geographical spread of the business, business travel will be required to European locations, however this should not exceed 30% and would not normally require weekends away. Only candidates who are eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship need apply.

£40000 - £55000 per annum + car+bens
