NEW PERMANENT BUYER JOB IN SHEFFIELD



Due to internal movement an exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading distribution business for a Buyer to join them on a permanent basis at their Sheffield based office.



This role will play an integral part within the business as you will provide support to the operations team in the management of procurement processes across all departments, ensuring that procedures are followed to allow control and cost savings for all purchases. In addition you will also be responsible for tactical purchasing on a daily basis and will be involved in buying direct materials, consumables, engineering equipment, MRO, professional services, general business supplies and labour hire.



The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar purchasing role and have experience gained within an engineering company or within a similar industrial environment. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders and build strong relationships with suppliers
