Global Facilities Relationship Manager

Hays Facilities Management is working in partnership with a multi-national science led global healthcare company that researches and develops a broad range of innovative medicines and brands. Due to a number of recent changes and growth, my client requires a Global Facilities Relationship Manager to sit within an entirely new entity that leads the supplier relationship management of 2 of their key strategic FM partners. Current annual spend with these suppliers are c. £200M and there is strong potential for this to increase as additional sites join the portfolio in turn meaning spend is likely to increase over the next 12-24 months.
ROLE
The purpose of this role is to act as the primary supplier relationship manager for my clients key strategic Facilities Management supplier. To ensure contract governance and supplier relationships mechanisms are in place and consistently applied across all business units and geographies. To ensure that business units strategic FM needs are fully represented in the performance management and governance assurance processes. The role will lead engagement with supplier's senior management on strategic developments and performance escalations to ensure appropriate prioritization and remedial plans are in place. The role will ensure that consistent approaches and systems aligned with other FM suppliers.
- Lead all aspects of the supplier relationship management to ensure consistent performance management with key senior business and supplier stakeholders - across all business units and sites.
-Global and regional governance oversight of all aspects of strategy implementation and supplier transition.
-Lead consistent implementation of transformation initiatives and tracking of benefits delivery with key senior business and supplier stakeholders - across all business units and sites.
-Ensure tiered performance management and governance arrangements are in place with key business unit representation at site, regional or business unit and global levels.
-Assessment and audit programs are in place to give independent assurance against key risk areas
-Third party risks are well managed, escalation and change management processes are consistently applied
-The provision of training to the organisations and supplier teams to ensure understanding and compliance to the contractual framework.
-Resolve 3rd level escalations to ensure swift resolution in line with the contractual framework.
KEY SKILLS
Demonstrable experience gained within a global integrated FM supplier or having been client side managing the engagement of one of these suppliers.
Highly developed FM or services commercial and contractual skills.
Strong stakeholder influencing and engagement skills are a must, and so competencies in proactively transforming tough stakeholder relationships, as well as managing conflicting internal and external demands to drive the best solutions.
Highly analytical with the ability to identify trends and recommend improvements to your supplier and stakeholders.
Demonstrable expertise of developing and implementing significant strategies, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management.
