This Apple Retail Senior Manager of Expansion is responsible for successfully leading the Greater China and Japan expansion effort for Apple Retail in accordance with Apple standards. This person will be involved in identifying, creating, leading and implementing processes, procedures and solutions as they relate to Expansion into new cities in Greater China and Japan. This person will be able to work independently and as part of a larger, cross-functional team. The Manager must possess excellent communication skills, in both English and Mandarin, and be able to effectively interact and influence all levels in the organization.
- Lead in the creation of a standard process for all expansion efforts.
- Lead in identifying city specific items that will impact expansion efforts.
- Leading a cross functional team in establishing timelines and action items.
- Presenting new country opening status to Executive Leadership.
- Educating the larger cross functional team on Greater China and Japan specific information that helps them make informed decisions.
- Evaluating the success and opportunities of each project from a process, cost, and quality perspective. Providing feedback as necessary to ensure store opening dates.
- Partnering with cross functional team to identify, create and implement new and innovative methodologies; working to continually improve current processes and practices.
- Quickly develop strong working relationships with corporate partners, field teams, and vendors globally to ensure delivery of the best possible experience to Apple Retail customers.
- Partner with business partners globally to determine global business needs and priorities, ensuring delivery of the best possible processes to Apple Retail Stores.
- Develop and maintain key partnership with the field including Regional Directors, Market Leaders, Store Leaders, and store teams. Turn information gathered into results that influence current projects or create new/improved initiatives that drive results.
