This fast paced provider are currently undertaking major construction projects as well as experiencing strong organic growth. To ensure continued execution of category plans and contracting strategies, they are now seeking a strategic Category Manager to deliver economically advantageous solutions.



You will apply your considerable procurement expertise to the sourcing and contracting of corporate services in order to minimise total costs, creating a competitive advantage while also optimising contractual integrity and risk management. Working with the stakeholders you will define the tender evaluation criteria, KPI, cost models, contract templates and any other category specific deliverables to provide the optimum value and unique solutions. You will have demonstrable experience in developing commercial strategies and business plans, while instilling best practice procurement governance through effective policies, standardised documentation and training. Fully conversant in conducting market analysis and benchmarking, you will be able to define performance targets (financial and non-financial) and assessment metrics, assessing and reducing risk.
