This International multi - site retailer has a unique market presence and continues to grow in strength with innovative in store product offerings. The Australian subsidiary now has an opportunity for a talented Group Financial Controller to provide significant scope and input in to the direction of the Australian business.
The Group Financial Controller will direct and control the effective financial reporting of the business and assist assist the local General Manager in providing day-to-day leadership. This will include analysis, interpretation and insight in managing the financial and commercial performance of the company, IT systems improvements and implementations, proactive management of cash and working capital within the company. Other key duties will include completion of local statutory accounts and corporation tax returns and managing the annual audit by the Group's auditors and the day-to-day relationship.
This critical position requires CPA/CA qualifications along with demonstrated leadership skills and experience of financial reporting from a retail environment. A hands on approach and commercial experience in adding value at the strategic and operational level will see you succeed in this great opportunity.
