Sales professionals are dedicated to growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations and closure. They own the sales process and outcomes. The Sales Capture Lead manages the opportunity sales pursuit and close opportunities using deep sales process and offering expertise. Develop and direct the sales efforts for new client target acquisition and/or direct the efforts to ensure execution of sales strategies geared toward protecting and growing business with existing clients. Sales Execution professionals involve multiple activities like target the right clients, grow quality pipeline, win profitable deals and manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value. Job Description Manage the Oracle Engineered Systems opportunity sales pursuit and close opportunities using deep sales process and offering expertise. Develop and direct the sales efforts for new client target acquisition and/or direct the efforts to ensure execution of sales strategies geared toward protecting and growing business with existing clients. Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives
Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility
Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture Key Responsibilities:
- Work with regional Sales, and Accenture leadership to identify, qualify and close opportunities in a highly competitive market.
- Manage the qualification process - Coordinate internal approvals and pursuit team resources; manage solution/proposition, client engagement, and relevant client demonstrations, etc.
- Create the Win Strategy and maintain/adjust throughout the sales process
- Effectively engage with the Client C-suite and stakeholders to establish and maintain support of the Accenture proposition
- Influence client's selection process and evaluation criteria
- Facilitate the negotiations and closing activities
- Manage successful transition of the opportunity to the delivery team
- Support efforts and/or gain client agreement for press releases, referenceability, etc.
- Participate as the one or all of the following roles from the Sales Credit Allocation: Sales Lead, Deal Shaper, Negotiator, Origination Lead
- Ability to meet travel requirements (typically 50-80%).
Salary up to £95,000 plus bonus
