ITSS provides support across the MPTE/NETC/NETPDTC claimancy, including IT services and support for the training activities/commands including but not limited to the Naval Personnel Support Detachment; PEO-EIS/PMW-240; Training Support Centers; and Training Support Detachments. NETC fulfills its geographically dispersed support functions through various Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC) Units and Customer Service Centers throughout the U.S. The NETPDTC hub site is in Pensacola, FL, with major focal points in San Diego, CA; Norfolk, VA; and Great Lakes, IL. Our enterprise-wide support comprises information assurance; technical support; computer/network systems operation; computer systems administration, management, and maintenance; Internet/intranet web integration and hosting; training deployment; database administration, engineering, and management; help desk support; applications software analysis and programming; and hardware/software integration.



CSC is seeking a junior level .NET Developer. The successful candidate must be a US Citizen able to obtain a NACI clearance.Essential Job Functions



In this role, the successful candidate will: design, develop and implement highly complex computer programs; contribute to complex problem solving; and assist support personnel in locating and resolving complex problems with programs.

• Codes, tests, debugs and documents highly complex programs.

• Develops complex test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.

• Assists in system designs to meet highly complex business needs.

• Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code and technical documentation.

• Supports project personnel in resolving fairly complex program problems.

• Works with task and projects to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility.

Provides technical input on complex programming.



.NET Web Developer (VB or C#), SQL Server (Stored Procedures, User-defined Functions, Database design and normalization, and SSIS). Experience with layered architectures (UI, BLL, BO and DAL). CSS/HTML and familiarity with jQuery, XML and AJAX.



.NET and Security+ Certifications are desirable but not required.

  • Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents basic programs. Assists in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user.

  • Assists in the research and analysis of existing systems and program requirements; assists in preparing documentation to change existing programs. Performs data analysis to support internal and external project needs.

  • Designs basic programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.

  • Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity.

  • Assists in resolving routine production support problems.

  • Assists in the completion of unit testing by preparing test data, running tests and evaluating results. Develops screen tests and debugging problems. Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.

  • Creates basic documentation in work assignments such as program code.

  • Conducts routine quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.

  • Remains abreast of and researches industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.





    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or related field preferred

    • Zero years of experience in programming or testing

    • Experience working in a student employment program or related experience

    • Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems and software

    • Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
