Our client is a leading international loss adjusting firm providing professional loss adjusting and claims management services to the insurance industry, and self-insured corporates, on a national basis.
They are seeking an experienced Building Property Loss Adjustor for their Christchurch location who can manage non-earthquake related building claims and is keen to be part of a progressive and growing team. You'll be covering the greater Canterbury region and from time to time, further afield, whilst handling a variety of interesting claims.
Daily responsibilities include meeting claimants, investigating and managing commercial and domestic property claims, reporting to insurers, dealing with contractors and other suppliers, agreeing repair scoping and costings and agreeing quantum of claims.
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you'll possess previous building loss adjusting experience (pref BAU and not earthquake related), insurance and industry knowledge and experience together with building experience and knowledge would be ideal. You'll be a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport. You'll have solid problem solving skills, clear reporting writing, be adaptable to the needs of the business and if you are part qualified that would be great.
