Our client, a diversified property group, is seeking a Property Accountant to join their head office on the Sunshine Coast. With more growth on the way, they are seeking to expand their large team with a dynamic accounting professional.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful applicant will be responsible for financial accounting, management reporting, analysis of financial performance and providing business support for a portfolio of properties. You will perform a hands-on role where you will be responsible for producing monthly financial information such as P&L reporting, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, supplier invoicing, and assisting with compiling data for audits. In addition, you will prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets, and other ad hoc project work as required.
To be successful, you will be degree qualified in Accounting and possess demonstrated hands-on accounting experience in the above areas. It is envisaged you will possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to work to set time lines, an outstanding analytical capacity, and effective decision-making skills. You must also be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
