BIM Manager for an Architecture firm located in Edmonton



A large local architecture office, established in Edmonton, is currently growing, due to a vast amount of new work and is in need of a BIM Manager in order to keep up with the growth of the office and to ensure the quality of the work already being completed. This firm has a wide range of new projects, and is in need of a team player to continue their excellent reputation in the city, which is recognized both on the private and public side of the industry.



As the BIM Specialist, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with the entire production team in house, and ensuring that standards are kept high, and that work is being completed on time. This role will have you reporting directly to the partners of the firm, and you will instantly become a crucial role in the firm’s future success. You will be in charge of the BIM system entirely, will train staff, trouble shoot problems, and constantly conducting research into new practices and employees work in order to increase efficiency.



You will need to have a minimum of ten years in a related Architectural position, most likely as an architectural technologist, job captain, or already a BIM manager. You must have proven team leadership skills, and enjoy training and working with others within the Architectural industry. With this being the lead position within the firm you must also be able to make confident decisions in order to guide the firm towards the best options available to them. This would be an excellent position for either a Senior Technologist searching for the next step within the BIM software, or for an experienced BIM Specialist either searching for a lead role with a local firm, or a BIM Specialist out of province looking to relocate to Edmonton.
