Corporate Communications Specialist

The corporate communications specialist will provide critical support to the Australian Corporate Communications lead on both local media and APAC analyst relations (if required) activity.



To help support Accenture’s growth strategy for Australia, t his specialist will help accelerate and evolve existing programs as well as create new ones to enhance Accenture’s brand and reputation in the market.



The role will primarily provide support for media relations activity across all growth platforms and operating groups, with a focus on strategic areas aligned to Accenture’s business strategy.



Responsibilities include:



Provide strategic support to the Australian corporate communications team



Help drive greater proactive media activity in support of the strategic themes



Act as a liaison between media and Accenture corporate communications, managing reactive media enquiries and proactive pitches



Facilitate media interviews – from briefing to execution



Develop media materials including media releases, executive briefing documents and pitches



Review global media materials to identify relevant content that could be targeted to Australian media



Work closely with client teams to increase proactive win announcements and client references



Help set strategy, engagement and measurement for company messages on social media channels



Cultivate, grow and leverage industry influencers including customer, partner, analyst and other 3rd party relationships to drive PR strategy



Facilitate industry analyst briefings



Provide internal issues management support to corporate communications team



Manage internal media monitoring, reporting and analysis



Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):



KPI's include but are not limited by the following:




  • Increase brand awareness and consideration metrics - Increasing share of voice and profile with tier one media and industry analysts aligned to strategic themes

  • Increase client wins

  • Increase proactive media activities in Australia

  • Increase social media presence







  • Bachelor's degree, university degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years in Communications in a corporate marketing environment
