My client, a niche manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced and hands on FC to manage their finance team and drive reporting across the business. This head office role will see you manage the cash flow, produce full accounts for four separate business units and manage the statutory and corporate reporting for the group. You will manage risk, compliance and internal controls. You will also deal with external banks and manage loans, inter company transactions and charges and banks covenants. You will be hands on with reconciliation's, journals, the balance sheet and the GL and you will responsible for stock, fixed assets managing your team.
Experience with taxation, dealing with external auditors, statutory reporting and hands on financial control is essential. You will also drive process improvements and efficiencies and will become the system "superuser" and will be an advocate for excellence across the business.
My client is looking for a tried and tested "safe pair of hands" with a practical approach and a hands on nature. CPA/ CA qualifications are essential, along with strong excel skills and experience in the manufacturing sector . Please apply ASAP or email Claire.eadington@hays.com.au
