The client is a unique boutique architects based in Ponsonby, they specialise in a range of projects however they do the majority of their exemplar work in the high end residential sector. The client has a requirement for a talented ArchiCAD technician to be part of an elite team of highly motivated and specialized individuals producing outstanding work of the highest quality and aesthetic.
The ideal candidate will have around 3 years of NZ experience, a high proficiency in ArchiCAD a thorough level of understanding and the ability to interact with co workers and contractors if necessary. Someone who is willing to challenge convention, to research practice and materials and to apply that research to deliver outstanding design that will stand the test of time. A successful candidate will be inquisitive, thoughtful and sensitive. As a team we work with intensity, with conviction and with absolute thoroughness to unravel the most appropriate design solution.
Responsibilities will include:
* technical drafting and documenting buildings
* 3d modeling of buildings
* specification writing
* detailing
* cost reports
* answering phone calls and messages as required
* obtaining material samples and costs as required
* meeting and liaising with technical suppliers and engineers as required
* technical systems management files and layer structures
* printing collation of documents
* research into detail issues
* occasional 3d rendering
* measuring and documenting buildings as required
