Our client is the lead NSW Government agency responsible for strategic planning and sustainable growth in NSW. The Department looks after areas of development, planning, local government and the environment. The agency is currently going through an exciting period of organisational and operational change.



The organisation is now looking for Infrastructure Assessments Team Leader to joint heir Planning Services division. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the effective and timely environmental assessment of the merits of State significant projects to meet statutory obligations and Government policy objectives. You will also be managing day to day activities of the team and providing advice and direction to the team members as well as driving output of planning reports and effective conditions of consent.



To be considered for this position you must have a tertiary degree in Town Planning with solid practical planning experience within the New South Wales, Local or State Government organisation. You will possess strong practical knowledge of assessing complex, large scale, infrastructure development applications and have excellent communication and presentation skills as well as ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
