A Senior Leadership role with a significant opportunity to help transform the IT procurement function for this forward-thinking commercial organisation. With a global remit, this key role has high levels of autonomy and profile and requires an individual well qualified to hit the ground running in a best-practice procurement environment.
Key elements of the role will include:
Creating sustainable value across all IT spend categories, through category strategies, sourcing and embedding robust contract management on both a single-market and global basis.
Delivering significant measurable annual savings in both budgets and cost avoidance
Driving insight through market research, benchmarking, supplier knowledge and networking
Driving a simplification agenda across the global business
Aligning with a global IT Function and supporting major change initiatives
A working knowledge of e-sourcing techniques
Management and coaching of IT procurement team members
Desired Skills and Experience
As well as demonstrable experience in the above in a best-practice procurement function operating in a global context, this role requires strong leadership skills and qualities and the ability to coach and lead a multi-site team in an international business environment. A strong customer focus is essential both internal and external to the organisation with the versatility, resilience and ability to perform strongly in a changing environment.

£65000.00 - £95000.00 per annum + bonus
