Apple is seeking an excellent Data Analyst Manager for Maps Supply Chain group.

We are looking for a skilled, experienced Data Analyst Manager to build a team to manage various aspect of analysis and reporting of worldwide business listings, points-of-interest, local events, and similar local data. You are able to coach, mentor and lead a team of data analyst. This includes adopting WW processes and establishing regional processes and procedures to ensure the team is functioning smoothly and efficiently.

Key Qualifications:

•Very strong in Python, Perl Linux/Unix and related programming skills.

•Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

•Knowledge in GIS and ArcGIS technology is desirable.

•Experience with Oracle Spatial or PostGIS extensions or GeoJSON or Shape files is plus.

•Effective team building skills

•Driven leader who approaches things with a sense of urgency and strong communication skills mandatory.

•Passionate about creating structure and processes that support the development of amazing work in a

•creative environment.

•Forward thinking and the ability to foster innovation and creativity, while also maintaining a clear sense of business objectives.

•Extraordinary communication and relationship skills, including the ability to collaborate cross-functionally both up and down within the organization.

Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing all data analysis functions, personnel management, including the performance review process and recruiting/staffing



• Oversee site resource planning and recruiting of new talent, including employees and contractors

• Provide regular coaching & mentoring

• Provide formal and informal performance feedback, both team based and one-to-one, and take corrective

action as required

• Hold regular staff meetings

• Support career path development for employee

• Promote positive employee behaviors by leading by example

• Performing statistical analysis and summarizing reports

• Develop ideal structure and resource plan that balances innovation, efficiency, and quality.

• Work closely with Training/Documentation, Quality, Policy and Engineering teams on continuous process

improvement

Education:

BS/BA Degree or relevant experience

GIS background, desired
